I've recently been doing more crafts with felt and have really enjoyed it. In the past I've used felt and had a hard time getting the pieces to stay where I want while sewing them together. However, I came across a tip on-line to staple the pieces together and this works amazingly well. Here's a few of my recent creations.
I bought the patterns for these masks from Oxeyedaisey. I like the detail on them and the kids have had fun playing in the backyard with them. There's also a rooster mask that I haven't gotten a pic of yet.
The pattern for this litter of kittens was free from Gingermelon. They are for my baby girl's first birthday.
And finally I've made a couple of needle books. One for a long time friends and the other for myself.
I will be adapting several of the masks patterns to make a bald eagle and panda in the next couple months.

If you've stumbled upon this blog by accident, this is just a way for me to keep track of the things I've been doing and hopefully keep me motivated to do more.
These little wooden acorn bowls are fun and my toddler and preschooler enjoy playing with them!
These hidden rainbow acorn pots are an idea I got at weefolkart.com They had a store they were selling the parts to make them, but I didn't get them ordered before they decided not to the store on a full time basis. Thankfully I was able to find out where they got the parts for them, because I thought they were adorable and were a great addition for the kids to play with.
